A few weeks ago I visited No Chintz in Sydney. While I couldn't afford the $100+ per metre for much of the fabric, I found the remnants basket and made some beautiful cushions. For ages I've experimented with several different cushion combinations for this seat and never been entirely happy with them. When I don't change cushions for six months, I know I've found the right ones. Hopefully these will be them. The fabric on the left is Designer's Guild:
I made this green and pink cushion over six months ago and from the minute I placed it on this chair with the vintage floral print one, they've stayed together in their cushiony perfection:

Your cushions look lovely!! I especially love your green and pink cushions. Can I ask, when you make your covers, how much bigger than the insert do you make the finished cover? I can never get my cushions to be the right 'plumpness'.
Great result. Don't you just love the remnants box!
My cushions are hit and miss. I make them exactly the same size as the insert with half an inch for the seam allowance. I think plumpness depends on the insert. I'm just so happy to have them I don't worry too much if they're not perfect. I just use an envelope style because I don't like zippers :)
These look great! You'll have to teach me the art of cushion-covering :-)
Kinf of a fun way to begin with chintz anyway!
Blushing Hostess: I just realised the irony in the fact that the store prides itself on it's lack of chintz yet some of the fabrics do look a little 'chintzy'.
Lovely blog!
I will link you on my blog and I'd like to invite you to visite also my blog :D
