Our Mediterranean Mother's Day

Yesterday our Greek friends arrived, bearing lots of seafood. We then began a weekend of eating. First was a barbecue lunch of lamb koftas and barbecued octopus:

Not forgetting the Moroccan lamb cutlets:

The waters of St George's Basin lapped quietly at the shore on this picture perfect day:

After lunch there was a post-prandial boat-ride for a couple of hours:

Then a seafood feast on the boatshed deck:


This morning there was brunch:



Followed by a stroll along Hyam's Beach:

It doesn't get much better!

What a lovely weekend Beth! It looks picture perfect. That food looks so good, that even though I am still full from a huge Mother's day luch, it is still making me hungry!
Honestly, it's like you live at a waterside resort... so jealous.

Evening Beth- although i loved the 'styling' of those goodlooking lamb cutlets -i have to say the wharf and brunch shot through the open doors made me want to sneak home for a visit of salt water...and an aussie/greek bbq...heading to paxos in 3 weeks and am going to eat out with some sylish lamb cutlets- will have another for you...
i loooove where you live ....
