Sorry about the confusion re dates in my post below. I have written both posts on Australia Day, 26th, even though they read the 25th. These photos were taken around the neighbourhood and I think they capture the general spirit of the day. Oh, the yellow things? They're plastic ducks! Don't ask! And the long tubes? Make-shift didgeridoos!
Hi Olivia, Thanks for stopping by my blog. I tried to post a reply on your blog, but it didn't work. I love your fox post by the way.
The boatshed is just one room about 20 feet long and 12 feet wide, with a bed, chairs, table and small kitchen. There is a bathroom out the back. The size is a bit of a challenge, especially when I keep buying chairs. There are photos of the inside of the boatshed posted earlier in my blog :)

Hi Beth,
I like the idea of living in a boatshed. Have never heard it before. How big is it? How many rooms do you have?

I think the Australian flag is one of the chicest around, with that scattering of stars.
I have enjoyed your blog, I am currently researching Australia to move my family there. So far I love everything and I wish I could move today.
